Görkem Arikan

Görkem is an interdisciplinairy musician, performer, producer and improviser. He recently obtained his masterdegree Sonology at the Koninklijke Conservatorium at The Hague. He works on finding new forms of musical expression, interactie installations and sound objects, by composing and designing music and sound. He is also working as a research assistant at the Institute of Sonology, The Hague. He has attented different festivals with his solo shows, including ADE, Dutch Modular, Rewire, ITGWO en Radical DB. At this moment Görkem is, togehter with Guy Wood and Tanja den Broeder, working on a project called No Music, which is the result of a collaboration between STEIM and The Beach.
