Marianne Kemp

Marianne Kemp makes unique hand woven horsehair pieces. Creating from experimentation with her materials. Weaving new surfaces that are ‘different’, not to be recognised as the ‘conventional’ weaving. She developes her own techniques in the weaving process.
She started weaving with horsehair in 1999 at the KABK in The Hague. After she finished a Master course at Chelsea Collega of Art & Design in London.
Now she is working on exhibitions and commissions worldwide.
